To me, the question is would Notre Dame most likely beat either JMU or Tulane? If so, then one of them needs to go.

Though our GOP representative from Des Moines has suddenly remembered he’s in a purplish district and is trying to tack to the middle. Announced today he was in favor of 2 year extension of ACA subsidies; had voted against it previously.

What I found interesting was that on one hand George Washington was praised as the only person who could have lead our country at that time and, on the other hand, at one point he ordered a sweep of the Ohio Valley by his army, killing Native Americans, burning their houses and destroying crops.

I was surprised she decided not to run for governor because she probably has more name recognition than Feenstra does, but maybe in her case that’s a bad thing. I do wish she would focus more on Iowa instead of laws that California is passing.

Here in Iowa our lieutenant governor resigned last year, mainly because of low pay. He’s a young man with a family, pay was around $125K. He took a job to head the Iowa Bankers Assoc for around $500K.

When a politician claims they know someone who was injured or died from the Covid vaccine, I wish they would be required to name names or provide some type of proof.

I was a little surprised at the margin. But much of the noise against the superintendent came from people outside the district and obviously they don’t have a vote.

What a horrific article. ICE clearly is not looking for criminals. They are just rampaging through the streets, grabbing any worker with brown skin.

This is spot on. Here in Iowa, maybe one or two trans kids tried to play high school sports and our governor and legislators couldn’t move fast enough to ban it.

As an Iowan who definitely did not vote for Trump it is very sad to see a once great state go down the MAGA rabbit hole. Our governor and legislators outdo each other to see who can be the most right wing.

That’s what I find the strangest about this – that no one noticed a whole wing was being emptied or if they did nobody leaked a word. And no leaks from the demo company workers when they were told to report to the White House?
