I have noticed. I always thought it was because I sometimes edit it a little on AO3 before posting.

It's good that you posted it, because for some reason AO3 didn't show me it had been updated even when I sorted my bookmarks by update time. 🤷🏻♀️ Now I just have to find the time to read it.

I think they count symbols, so the word count may differ a little, but my fic was close to 280k. Well, it still is, but now the beginning is in another document, so I can see the total word count after I have posted it on AO3.

I was wondering if it was a new thing, because I remember that you told me you write the drafts in Drive and I know your fics are longer than mine (my WIP is the longest I have ever written). So I guess it's not just me after all (even though that wouldn't surprise me either). 😄

It was a surprise to me too. It actually demanded that I erase part of it before writing more, so I couldn't cut and paste it to another document before I had actually erased some words from it. So weird.

Oh, my plot demons like to hit me with inspiration at work too, so my mind is occupied with imagining some scenario for a fic instead of doing work.

Yep. That person is still not shutting up, even if I'm not responding. I have to admit, I have never heard such a weird opinion of Deckerstar before. It started out accusing Chloe of being too insecure and ruining the romance and now they're saying Lucifer is not supposed to be with one person only.
