The two party system sucks, man. And if y’all miss out on Farage then I’m relieved for you guys. It’s funny because my grandpa (105 yo, it’s crazy) always says “I can’t believe we elected a guy like that” and I’m like grandpa, I got news for ya 😂

Grifting his nasty arse off.
An absent, racist MP worshipping at the MAGA altar from the Brexit rubble, demanding power without accountability. And apparently, being given it.
Every day Farage proves himself unfit for public office. And every day he gets his free pass and laughs his way to the bank.
New - Nigel Farage has been found by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards to have made 17 standards breaches, adding up to over £380,000 in late declarations.

He’s apologised, so no further investigation (which seems unusual for a breach this large)

It was also #Reform’s first by-election defeat in #Derbyshire,

It comes after months of success in the polls, in which the #GreenParty have closed in on Reform, Labour and the Tories ever since Polanski @zackpolanski.bsky.social became leader

Even though he's a lying twat, this isn't about Farage.

It's about the toothless Standards Commissioner.

If there are no sanctions, all MPs will continue to take the piss.

Why is it always one rule for them, and another for the rest of society?

Trump wants to destroy a strong and united Europe.

Against chaos, we defend a rules-based international order.
Against egoism, we choose cooperation based on mutual respect.
Against brute power politics, we stand united in defence of our values.

This is the European way.

#Farage is on the slide and long may it continue. As for the pollsters, there’s only one poll and that’s a #GE and rest assured he won’t be PM.

Forcing 300,000 workers out of their jobs created chaos for struggling families and jeopardized the services we rely on. And there's no evidence whatsoever that all these workers are now cashing in.

Farage failed to declare over £380,000 in outside earnings on top of his MP's salary.

He's lining his pockets when he should be standing up for Britain.

Someone who knows what he's talking about - and would make a better leader today than he did back in the time. Better than Starmer, of course, is unquestionable. Blair got infinitely worse (I don't understand why, beyond £££$$$) and Brown much, much better. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

The idea that the liberal rules-based order can survive his presidency now seems complacent. This is a historic moment – and a time to act, says former UK prime minister Gordon Brown

This will go down as one of the great speeches of the Trump-crisis era. He's comfortable with big ideas and with speaking truth unto power. I wish someone like Carney was leading the UK. Starmer is fundamentally decent but too afraid to inhabit the role of leader in these difficult times.
Mark Carney's speech really is terrific: full text is here and very much worth your time.
