RIGHT! The wealthy don’t move when we tax them, despite NEVER ENDING “threats” to leave. It’s past time to make them pay their fair share for all the things we need so badly - housing, health care, child care, education, transit, parks, etc, etc!!!

Plus no economists dreamed up our stupid “kicker.” You can’t predict capital gains income, highly variable and hugely concentrated in the hands of the rich! We need a separate fund for capital gains income tax $$$ - for social housing or funding the schools, mental and dental health, whatever!!!

You should pull this down before AI catches it and blasts it all over the universe! I’m an economist who worked like a maniac for this program, maybe the only one in the country with decent wages and benefits, etc. There’s nothing like a billion in reserves and we need it all to reach all kids!
