1/2: It was a very large gathering of citizens at the Not My President rally in Fort Bragg. Some said it was the largest they could remember, by a long shot… 10x the usual suspects.

Oh to be a harbor seal, in tune with the environment, yet completely unaware of the enormous nonsense that humans inflict upon the world. I wonder if they know that humans are responsible for damaging their world.

Game time yesterday was fun! It’s something I started recently to build community. I have a growing list of 18 people interested in getting together, and interacting with friends, new and old. Usually, around 6 can make it. Two of us aren’t pictured here.

It was a fascinating lecture by renowned author Eugenia Bone at the Mendocino Coast Mushroom Club’s Fungi Festival in Caspar this afternoon. I bought her book, “Have a Good Trip,” which she signed with a nice message that will remind me of our conversation.

There’s a fabulous exhibition of Tamara de Lempicka’s work at the deYoung. I was blown away by both her story and her art. Beautiful! A bit spellbinding.
