Happy 1st Birthday to Sneaux! Rescued at 4 months, 1/2 lab, 1/2 Great Pyrenees so we have a way to go before she calms down a bit. She has brought joy to my life. #dogsofbluesky

Not really gardening but I have Good Friday eggs dating back to 2017. Tradition says the yolk of an egg layed on Good Friday will turn to gold. I've never cracked one open, but they have been sitting on a shelf in my house and never smell rotten.

🌱Clearing out the garden soup! Roasted cabbage, turnips and carrots. Found a package of ground venison in the freezer, added a jar of my canned tomatoes from last summer and some bone broth, simmered with roasted veggies all day.

Chickens are doing a fine job clearing out the winter garden and my rescue 1/2 Pyrenees is doing a fine job guarding them. I open up the vegetable garden for them before prepping for spring, they take care of weeds and leave some fertilizer behind.
