Former Sen. Eichorn’s nameplate has been removed from his desk on the Senate floor following his resignation minutes before a vote for his expulsion was scheduled.

For context, Sen. Eichorn who was arrested for soliciting a minor, won by a large margin in his last election in 2022 but the Republican got to the State Capitol by beating an incumbent DFLer back in 2016 in a very close election.
