Something happened today. I was just leaving a local grocery when an elderly woman rushed in. “Did anyone find a purse? I can’t find mine.” Clerk told her no & said to check her car. She did but obv. didn’t find it. After stashing my bags in my car, I went over to see if I could help her.

Want one more great Halloween title? A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny is a sometimes gory, often funny, always wonderful pastiche of all the great old horror novels & films with fabulous cover art. As one YouTube critic (Liam aka Hemvar) calls it, it's a love letter to Gothic horror.
