Song of the Day: I'll Take You There (1972)
Not the best Staples song, IMO, but maybe the best Mavis showcase. It's not just her voice, but the uncontainable genius spirit. She can't stop her flow, even during the instrumental breakdown. You must ride the Mavis wave.
