The Village began August 2024. It started as a weekend event when Taylor Swift was in Indianapolis for the last performance of the Eras Tour. It quickly grew from a simple activity to an event that's consumed my other creative activities and energy. Simultaneously, I developed worsening health issues which makes completing this project quickly impossible. So. When I feel exhausted, I will rest.

The October Schedule is as follows: Monday, October 6– Warren Library 11:00am-1:00pm Tuesday, October 7, 21, and 28–E. 38th Street Library 1:00-4:00pm Thursday, October 9, 16, 23, and 30–Central Library 2:00pm-4:00pm Friday, October 17, 25, 31–Southport Library 3:30pm-5:30pm The Village activities are also possible for your group! The Village Progress update Three of thirteen panels are finished. They look great, and have paved the way for the other ten. Two panels are getting latch hook composition outlines done by friends, and I'm doing the third! By October, The Village will be almost half way done! In the meantime, there will be: Pompom parties at SPARK on the Circle, Tube Factory Artspace, and various places around town.

May 1-July 1 The Village is going to be resting. Two panels are done, and one is very close to completion! There's been a lot of activity at various INDYlibrary locations, and more will be scheduled later in the year. For now: Central Library Thursday July 3, 10, and 17 from 2-4 and Martindale Brightwood Tuesday July 1, 15, and 29.

It's been a super busy, super fun month! April is busy too, but not quite as much as March. Sundays 11-1 are at Tube Factory Artspace. Wednesday noon til 3 pm are at Ivy Tech Fall Creek in the North Meridian Campus Building in the Student Lounge on the Fourth Floor. The Technology Buidling was a bit hit or miss for participation because people were mostly there for advising purposes.

Happy Women's Month!!! Celebrating the ferocious joy of what it means to be female on this planet. What does femininity mean to you? It's taking me a lifetime to fathom it for myself because of the very male culture I (we) inhabit. I think the uptick in testosterone our country (and planet) is experiencing right now is dismaying because it really throws us all out of balance.

I’m going to start tonight by stating the obvious: the Republicans control both chambers of Congress: the House of Representatives and the Senate.

I love making things with people. I love sharing stories. I loved seeing people smile. I love children. I love watching moms take their kids to the library. I love hearing about people's different experiences. I love watching joy light up a person's face when they learn something new. I love learning new things too. I love traveling around Indy and meeting new people.
