I'm so lucky. A couple years ago I was out front when man called a hello. "I'm xyz, pres of HOA." Blood drained out of my face. But then: "We're working w/township stormwater engineer to plant stormwater basin w/natives. Can you meet w/him and share your knowledge?" We met; he was so enthusiastic.

On my 1/8-acre in planned suburban development with an HOA. Some neighbors just *have* to be different. Central PA.
