This morning was the final race of our Merit League: Run the Blades HM! We had some podium finishes with Natalie coming in 2nd woman, Amy joining her on the podium as 3rd woman and Finn coming in 1st NB! Finally, big shout outs to Cat and James as our newest Merit League winners!! 🏅💙

Last night we held our annual Bannerman Trail race! Amy successfully defended her women’s Bannerman title and Scott is our newest men’s Bannerman champ! Big congratulations also to James for being the overall winner of the sealed handicap! 💙

Yesterday, some of our Harriers travelled to the capital to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, with Scott and James completing the marathon and Cat completing the half marathon! There were some fantastic times set - with Scott and James both achieving PBs!! Big congrats to all three 💙🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Last night was the DAAA 5000m track race! Despite some hot conditions, there was some excellent performances from our harriers. Particularly, the MH ladies team who came in third place🥉!! Big congrats to all our runners 💙

Yesterday, Natalie, Masha, Scott and James completed the Edinburgh to North Berwick 20 mile race! Finn travelled to Manchester for the Frontrunners 10k race where they came 1st non-binary ! And Cat completed her 250th Park Run! Massive well done to all our runners 💙

This week, we finished our most recent Couch to 5k course and what better way to graduate than by completing Elder Parkrun alongside a Harriers contingent!! Well done to all our C25K graduates and big thanks to all the coaches and volunteers throughout these last 10 weeks! 💙

We are immensely proud of our fellow Harrier, Linda, who bravely saved a woman’s life in Orkey back in 2023. You can read about her feat of heroism in a recent BBC news article 💙

Yesterday, we travelled East to take part in the John Muir Way Ultramarathon! This was a fantastic race along the trails of East Lothian and our squad absolutely smashed it with some incredible performances and personal bests! 💙🏆

Today was our annual club cross country championship! Some muddy conditions and obstacles on the course caused by recent storms made for an interesting but thoroughly enjoyable race! Big congrats to Finn for reclaiming their MH XC title! 💙🥇
