Ages ago, I posted a link to a video (because videos couldn't be posted here at the time) of me after 2 weeks learning bass. Since we can post videos here now - this is one from August I think. Anyway - I'm quite pleased with how well I've done in just under a year.

This one was almost an "outtake", but seemed to be the most popular of a series I'd shared with friends. I do like it because it shows off my fangs...which are not QUITE as long in RL, but are fairly pointy. Oh, I made the jewellery, too! And the bass clef tattoo! :D

I love this thing so much. Last night I was learning a jazz piece. JAZZ. I've been playing for 4 weeks now, and last night I played jazz. My left index and middle fingertips are (possibly permanently?) numb, but I just LOVE playing bass!

This was a few years ago, but we stayed at a B&B in the UK, and the sink was so small, we had to turn the water on very slowly, otherwise, it just overshot the rim and poured onto the floor. This is the sink, with my husband's had for scale.
