🌱 Bees love garlic chives. They were swarming all over them yesterday morning - too many to count. Garlic chives are ridiculously easy to grow, too. Come back year after year. I wonder what that does to the taste of the honey in the local hives?

Yeaaaaa! She's back! I guess they went somewhere else to wait out the snow that just fell. The nest is now considerably larger - it previously was just one end of the little picnic bench feeder and now it seems to be the full length. 😁

Chuck, I can assure you that inflation is NOT the largest concern I have. The dismantling of my rights and protections is screaming hot. As is pulling food aid from thousands of people who will die without it. And then there's the obvious corruption taking over DC. Especially see ScreenShot.

🌱 Last year's German White garlic bed, etc. We got a great crop of it and it's kept well. Still eating down the stash!

So there was a hawk sitting across from my bird feeder this morning. He was too fast to catch on camera, except as a blur. Any clues what he might be, besides a beautiful animal? (Upstate NY)

I miss this job. I don't miss having to wear pantyhose and high heels at work, but I LOVED the job! (Photo is not me.) I worked graveyards (11pm to 7:30am). The other operators got together and bought me a tie, as their dress code was suits w/ties - they'd never had a female operator before so....😁
