Spent the weekend at the Foundations of Adaptive Schools training. It was great to attend face-to-face professional development, connect with so many educators, and continue to build a collaborative culture for our students @Think_Collab and @AdaptiveSchools #ACSLearns

'Thirst' by @varshabajaj is an excellent middle grades novel. I have been thinking of the many ways that it could be used to support the teaching and learning around water scarcity and #GlobalGoals. 'Thirst' would make an excellent read aloud or book club option. #Goal6 #SDG6

My #Books2Eat was inspired by @dbhiguera's The Last Cuentista. Imagine sleeping for 380 years, waking up and this is the only thing you eat, nutritious “bioloaf” and mood-altering tonic. Bioloaf is described as what would occur if, "kale, hay, prunes and vinegar had a baby.

When a HS student gives you the sour dough starter that he made from scratch...you do your best to feed it and learn how to make bread. His Mom and @doesmathforfun have been coaching me on my bread making skills. Still lots of learning to do @Mr_McGrady.
