We purchased a PHEV vehicle this week, and I urge everyone to send a message to the oil companies by either doing the same or participate in a gas boycott — with the intention of using our consumer power to shut down this Venezuela nonsense for good.

It would be REALLY useful if reporters helping Trump manipulate market w/tariff panic remind people that:
1) His tariffs have ALREADY been ruled illegal
2) The right wing has come out against them (CATO, Koch, AEI, right wing lawyers and economists, Chamber of Commerce)
3) Appeal hearing is 7/31

This is not even about Sen Padilla. This is about theater to show all of us, as citizens, will be mishandled for the slightest provocation, even if it involves protected speech. The goal here is to incite us enough to create mayhem and riot. We will not allow them to bait us to act out.

rural townsfolk beliefs here are succumbing to prosperity gospel propaganda. Why? Democratic party programs are here, like Headstart, but Democratic values are not. No one is trumpeting the need for them. We see a vacuum, and as more conservatives seek rural setting it will get worse. #calaveras
