People were lied to. Believed the lies for lots of reasons. We thought that the chickens had come home to roost, but with the rise of populism we've seen nothing yet. One thing that schools can do now - starting in primary - is to develop critical thinking, teach about fake news. Check out Finland.

I really disliked this. The stuff was expensive and did absolutely nothing to get people enthused about exercising. Much more likely to create feelings of inadequacy. Make recommendations through The Filter if you want to be helpful.

Not cutting edge, but The Great Caruso. My mum loved films, and I have lovely memories of sat, leaning against her legs, watching what I thought were oldies. For her it was revisiting her youth so I'd hear the stories of when she watched them for the first time. And therein began my love of film.
