I’ve always needed background noise and it is for comfort but it doesn’t do any harm. Boring tasks forced overthinking so anything which counteracts that is good.

Both my mother and father got bullied at school so I understand. It doesn’t make someone naive to ask a school to do the things they say they want to do. My point was that schools say they have to have children in there and not home schooled so they can keep them safe. It’s their argument, not mine

They are so desperate to talk about you! I recall Cuomo saying Mamdani ‘didn’t have any experience’ recently in NY - when you looked up Mamdani’s work it was years of community based work. Having ‘experience’ is clearly overrated when you get government after government of grifters in charge.

They could do a lot more. Bullying is so often just swept under the carpet even with the whole ‘anti bullying’ week. Boys with promising academic careers ahead of them are still protected with ‘boys will be boys’ rhetoric

Schools could address their failure to stop bullying on site, and to recognise that bullies generally come from homes where they are bullied. Kids who learn to bully at home do this stuff to other kids and the excuse of why the ‘target’ kid is different is always beside the point.
