Only sexist if you regard a latte as a lesser version of a coffee than a flat white. I dont think I've ever heard a woman order a flat white at a cafe in my life, & I'm over 50.

I must admit that living in Melbourne I have been served a few flat whites that were a little too 'milk forward' in my time. Worst is when the person at the 'til passes on my order to the barista as "a latte". "Does it look like I'm wearing a dress!!"

No country has ever markedly increased spending in defense without finding itself going to war shortly thereafter. 'When you buy a child a new hammer, everything looks like a nail to them'.

Because the vocal few constantly push the ridiculous need for more range in EVs when nobody drives them to their range limits in everyday use. This "range anxiety" just smothers EV take up & blows the price up on new stock making heavier & far more expensive EVs than they need to be. A waste.

In a world where the good guys are the bad guys, international law is meaningless. If Australia wants to find it own place in this international environment, it'll have to do it alone.

But in Australia there are hardly anyone living in remote locations, and those that do are very well catered to by ICE vehicles which have no indication of coming to an end. Why must EVs be thrown out just because 1% of the Australian car market doesn't like them?

Long range EVs are not where it's at. Reduce size/weight/price of EVs & focus on the metropolitan market. The sheer weight & size of such a rang in battery is something the motorist has to drag around with them on every short trip they do.
