I see Lucy Powell got the deputy leadership after just 17% of the membership felt strongly enough about either candidate to bother to vote. I think that statistic is a greater worry for Starmer than the humiliation of Caerphilly.

Got to be at least 18 months since I've watched #BBCQT and the presence of a Labour clone, a Tory clone, a Reform gobshite and a Tory journo does nothing to make me watch tonight. However, the participation of @zackpolanski.bsky.social, one of the few MPs who speak honestly, just might.
