By crikey, that David Lammy fella sure was a big fan of the jury system, until it suited him not to be.
Look at these posts.
I just hope when his head has stopped turning it's facing to the front..

It's worth reading this ad for two SPADs for Wes Streeting, the health secretary, who claims resident doctors wanting to up their £38k starting salary is "unnecessary, unreasonable and unfair"
Yet he’ll pay his special advisors up to £55k and £88k
Priorities, I guess www.w4mpjobs.org/JobDetails.a...

When famous people die it is usual to list their achievements in high office, so here goes, Dick Cheney:
Afghanistan
Iraq
Halliburton
Regime change
Domestic espionage
Waterboarding/torture
Etc, etc, etc…
Dick Cheney helped shaped the world we live in today, but not in a good way.

Pizza Express has renamed its Pizza Party experience 'State Banquet', as now it's the closest Andy Windsor is ever going to get to one.

If they can strip a title like this why can’t they do the same to her 👇

If they can strip Andrew of his ‘Prince’ title it shouldn’t be as hard as has been claimed to strip a ‘Lady’ of her peerage.

I see Lucy Powell got the deputy leadership after just 17% of the membership felt strongly enough about either candidate to bother to vote. I think that statistic is a greater worry for Starmer than the humiliation of Caerphilly.

The front page of Time looks like someone’s painted a face of Donald Trump on a scrotum.

Simple question: should an adjudged rapist and 34-times felon, a stranger to the law and breaker of his pledge to uphold the constitution, as suited to high office as Herod was to childcare, become a Nobel laureate?

Got to be at least 18 months since I've watched #BBCQT and the presence of a Labour clone, a Tory clone, a Reform gobshite and a Tory journo does nothing to make me watch tonight. However, the participation of @zackpolanski.bsky.social, one of the few MPs who speak honestly, just might.

One of these captures the flummery and empty ritual of a fantasy, Ruritanian world. The other’s a picture from The Prisoner of Zenda.

In the parched wasteland that is our back garden I saw a tiny dot of colour on top of a 12ft wall - got a ladder, climbed up, found this.

My grandson (7) made a mask with Play Doh.

What the BBC does:
* always calls it "Hamas-controlled" Gaza
* dumps the doc about Gaza because of the narrator's dad
* dumps the doc on Gaza doctors for no reason
What the BBC never does:
* ask Starmer, Lammy, Nandy etc about the money they take from the Israel lobby
BBC balance, eh?
July 15, 2025 at 8:45 AM
WE really didn't need all that pomp, circumstance and money wasted on a State banquet for Macron when Starmer could have taken him to an even more British institution.

Political protest, Hebridean style, in Lewis, where Donald Trump’s mother was born. The verse is about caring for others and going through the Pearly Gates, or not - and burning in eternal fire.
Which one is Donald John destined for?
