I was making my way back to the truck at the end of my shift. Had to call to have a Pisten Bully come play blocker. They turned on the spot light and he got annoyed enough to fade back into the woods. Most dangerous moment in that very dangerous job for me.

When I worked at a ski resort as a snowmaker the only animals on the entire mountain I was afraid of were Moose. Had a couple of run-ins and was lucky to not get gored/trampled by an angry bull moose while I was wading through hip deep powder.

External accountability seems to be the key here. I am going to attempt to re-engage with my trainer following several surgeries on a broken leg because I can't motivate myself to do it alone. Working with a pro also helps keep me from further injuring myself.

I finally got all the hardware and base firmware working, designed some nice enclosures, and had @marvthegrate.bsky.social 3d print the enclosure models for me. Still working on the contest management software

My only advice is to be careful if you use the PE foam. I munged more switches in this than in any build I have ever done.
