The most insidious kind of bias is when one guy decides he's in charge of objectivity, tries to control its expression, and unilaterally forces his version on everyone else.
Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, the billionaire owner of The Los Angeles Times, said on Thursday he planned to introduce a “bias meter” next to the paper’s news and opinion coverage as part of his campaign to overhaul the publication.
