Yeah….it’s a shame. 😕 I’ve never seen a painting before, only photos. It’s crazy…I took some shots there and it’s also super sad how much got lost in a few years…so yeah I saw melting ice with my own eyes.

Thank you! For some reason my answer has vanished, so I type it again. I’ll post shots of the hike to the mountain hut soon. It’s pretty cool and they also have one of the highest weather stations / observatories in Europe up there (3.106 m). I hiked to another hut on about 2.175 m.
