Science Fiction reader, metalhead, cat lover.
He has a band called The Basics who are still working, in fact I think their new album is imminent. I've been a fan since I saw him drumming and singing on an ABC show a very long time ago. I have a thing for singing drummers...

Wally De Backer had a bit of a career as "Gotye" but that one big hit sadly terminated it. He seemed to lose interest in being a pop star.
He declined to monetize the amazing clip on YouTube, a decision which cost him millions.

This person, known as the malignant tuber (Mr Potato Head) or Temu Trump, is the right wing opposition leader in Australia. He's an ex-cop and two time loser. He's indescribably repulsive on so many levels I can't say any more without exploding in bile.

It heartens me unreasonably that someone else notes Clem Burke's talent.

Robert Heinlein was particularly subject to that. He was often provocative and posited exaggerated positions for effect, and people read him literally. I'm not saying he was a blameless liberal, but I feel a lot of people overreacted to his writing.

Having suffered at least one elbow bite myself, today, I have no answer. But I commiserate.

Oh well, now I'm genuinely envious of your cruising lifestyle.

Very becoming John. The crocs are divisive, but on consideration I like them. Fan cool, bonnet or turban missing. HOWEVER, do you not own an iron???

RUDE! Accurate, but rude.

Sounds like home. Will also bite the instep if I'm walking incorrectly.

You need to do ... certain things... with a drop bear to catch the chlamydia.

Dingoes? Surely yes by humans, who have been in Australia for ~60,000 years.

I thought he was patting his invisible llama.

It was a pretty poor one, perhaps he should get John Cleese to give him lessons. I was particularly disappointed that he left out the left index finger under the nose - surely an essential part of any 21st century sieg hiel.

Cruel, but fair.

I believe someone once said that co-writing is where each participant does 80% of the work.

Most dangerous animal in Australia is the COW! Followed by the horse.
