If you and @donnadb.bsky.social are looking for a new game to play, I think you both would enjoy Harmonies... It seems to fit in with the games I've seen you post about.

If you guys enjoy trick taking, I recommend Xylotar. It's a small little game that mixes hidden information, deduction, and trick taking. And it plays well with three or four players. From the same publisher as Cat in the Box.

The newest season is on some streaming channel called MHz Choice. I had never heard of it.

Good list! Distilled is definitely the one I'm most curious to check out. FWIW, I don't think The Fox Experiment is heavier than most games on your list. It's basically a roll-and-write disguised as a board game.

It also has its own board game.
