Baffles me they never bothered to remove the need for those. Literally every crafting daily after doesn't need them. Though there's a lot of ARR stuff that's outdated and kind of just forgotten

(Og flcl took nearly a year to get 6 episodes out. Nowadays, the industry really doesn't favor that idea.)

I enjoyed the 2nd season for what it was. It's definitely meant to be its own vibe. Haven't seen 3-5 but I assume it all suffers from the same issue as 2 in that It's borderline impossible to truly capture the success of the og in the modern anime environment, plus only one of the studios involved
