Some of them were very good. Lots of psychedelic, demonic imagery, team-ups with Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Defenders, etc. Stories usually revolved around his "infernal destiny." Typical Satanic pulp stuff. I liked it.

I do like putting them on when I'm doing other things. But yeah, if I made myself sit and watch them, I would need prescription medication to avoid throwing a brick at the screen.

RFK, Jr. is someone who doesn't really care about people but only wishes he did. He remembers those ostracized kids too, but his reaction is "I must save us all from the pain of their existence!" He sees that as "altruism," self sacrifice, etc.

One problem with social media is it requires constant discussion, crosstalk, etc. Typical fandom centered around merely liking something burns through that in a couple weeks. But nutty hottakes go on and on, so that gets elevated.

I shudder to think of the meltdown this would cause the anti-WOKE crowd today. So many heroes invented merely to provide diverse teams representing many nations -- to recall the Olympics, of course. I was 12 when this came out and even I noticed that. Awesome. 😁
