I remember. I think you woke up and she was there.

She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday at the age of 8. I'm just trying to go day by day and get through a lot of the "first time without her" things. It's rough because I live alone.

These days I just get excited about LED lights lol

She was still warm when I found her. The vet thinks she had only been dead for 1-2 hours. It kills me that I wasn't home. But it's comforting to know that her death was instant and painless. The apartment feels empty, but at the same time I can still feel her presence.
