Catching a train behind some tourists today who are really enjoying the different suburbs we pass through, and it has reminded me

a) how much I enjoy watching the world go by when I catch trains overseas, and

b) how refreshing it is to see my city through someone else's eyes.

This was a fun event to be part of last weekend. I only did the 'mini-marathon' but got to jog down the middle of the Harbour Bridge (and might just tackle the 10km next year).

If the Sydney Swans finish the job this year & bookend the Buddy Franklin era with a premiership either side, I'm sure there's a great lesson in there somewhere about building a champion team & not a team of champions, but until then I'm just going to enjoy wins like that. #GoSwans

Years ago I bought a really good kitchen knife and honestly couldn't believe what a massive difference it made. Today I've had the same experience with a vacuum cleaner.

After nearly 20 years living in apartments, I'm now back on the ground floor in a townhouse and was not expecting the ecosystem of ants, spiders, lizards, and other bugs that now surrounds me. Our dog also quite enjoys this.
