Highly recommend ‘Sea People’ by Christina Thompson - an extremely well-written account of ancient Polynesian navigation covering a range of disciplines and perspectives. Perfect for #Moana fans, and/or for reading while gazing out over the Pacific!

Just finished ‘Distant Freedom’ by Andrew Pearson - an excellent account of St Helena’s role in the suppression of the transatlantic slave trade based on extensive historical and archaeological research.
