Congratulations to children from Sacred Heart school who have contributed drawings to Keely Hodgkinson's plaque on our Wall of Fame in Leigh. An 'Our Art Neighbourhood' project with Leigh Neighbours started four years ago, Keely is the 15th person to be included in the mural. #communityart #leigh

A powerful and moving exhibition of Ukrainian photography curated by Max Gorbatskyi & Viktoria Bavykina at the Turnpike Gallery. Delighted to host this show from Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool before its final display at UK Parliament in March 2025.

Something a bit different... Off and on over the last couple of years, I've worked with local children on developing a Wall of Fame in Leigh, celebrating local cultural and sporting heroes. Here are some drawings for the latest addition. Keely's plaque will be unveiled in a couple of weeks!

Saw some great drawings by Frank Auerbach at the Courtauld last week including this self portrait. Charcoal on paper, worked and reworked with additional bits of paper added. All the drawings accumulate the presence of hours of looking.
