In the process of going for new job & many getting rejected at shortlisting. So looking at getting some certifications to make me more appealing. Seems I could RPL 60-90% of 4 relevant to my experience Cert IVs. Why don’t more people take advantage of this ‘cheat code’?

Well that was a pretty bad interview today from my point of view. Process not as expected, seeming mismatch of expectations from ad to questions, and things felt off from the start. If anyone was to ask me about jobs in the APS, this is for sure one department that wouldn’t get my recommendation…

Watching some old Lawful Masses videos & this line hit me & I laughed (I’m not that old yet, but I too would use that word): “When you’re committing a crime you probably shouldn’t be videotaping it. Oh I’m sorry I’m 43 years old. You probably shouldn’t be recording it, live streaming it…”

Does anyone have any recommendations for coffee subscription delivery services? Given I go thru enough it seems like it would be a good way to satisfy my need for caffeine. Been looking at the likes of Pablo & Rusty’s, Seven Miles, etc but any suggestions welcome

Currently going through planning for a trip later this year. I’m coming up with some pretty unconventional plans on how to get to/from Europe… I may or may not be crazy 😅

It’s that time again where I have to decide what to do for dinner but have the all too common indecision hitting me. Debating between kebab/pide + chips or pasta + schnitzel… or do I somehow scrape together something at home (kinda low-ish on supplies)… 🤔🤔🤔

Great to see the noise shed at Fed Sq gone, the main building behind Young & Jackson’s taking shape (including some of the interior design finishes/fittings in place), and the City Sq pavilion built up with shutters fitted. Metro Tunnel (Munnel) time is getting damn close!

This seems so deeply stupid. Why do companies block access to their websites like this outside their home market? What is wrong with me looking at what locations they have or checking out their offerings? It makes me actively not want to patronise them when in their country.

I’ve applied for a job recently & naturally waiting to hear about an outcome. Is it a good or bad omen if in my dream last night there was a situation where I was called into an office & sat down with someone who said words to the effect of “Hi I’m from Xyz, congratulations you’ve got the job!”?
