Delighted to celebrate Diwali with the Scottish Hindu Foundation and to commend their pioneering work defining Hinduphobia and strengthening interfaith understanding across Scotland. @ScotHinduFdn

Labour has admitted any SNP majority must be taken seriously—so let’s deliver one in May. Ignore the MSM’s Reform fetish: real-world results, like Plaid Cymru’s win for Lindsay Whittle in Wales, show Reform can be beaten. Meanwhile, the SNP is leading the fight against Labour’s “Brit Card” digital I

Happy Diwali
To everyone who is celebrating, I wish you and your families a very Happy Diwali. May the Festival of Lights bring warmth to your homes, joy to your hearts, and hope for the year ahead. Thank you for all you do to brighten our communities with your generosity, culture, and friendship.

Labour now say there’ll be no referendum—even if the SNP wins a majority—so it’s clear Scotland must take our future into our own hands. With Farage’s rise and the UK’s democratic deficit worsening, our task is to deliver an indisputable SNP majority next year on the new boundaries finalised on 16 O

From today Peak Rail Fares have been scrapped by the SNP.

Real help with the cost of living.  Putting money back into peoples pockets.

I welcome the news and thank Police Scotland for their action in arresting and charging a 45-year-old man in connection with an offensive banner displayed during protest activity in the Kemper Avenue area of Falkirk on August 16, 2025.

Police Scotland struck a careful balance in their handling of

A Great Day at the SNP Summer BBQ
A fantastic SNP Summer BBQ – huge thanks to Willie & Doreen for hosting! Great food, company, and political chat. With AGMs coming up, now’s the perfect time to get involved. Together, let’s build momentum for independence.

Another great day campaigning with team SNP.

Scotland is the only part of the UK where poverty is falling — thanks to SNP action. The Scottish Child Payment is a real game changer, helping families and tackling child poverty. Imagine what we could do with independence.

Squeezed in an hour of campaigning before the rain hit! ☀️ Chatted, smiled, and outran the storm! 💪 #CampaignHustle

Indoor activities for the rest of the weekend I think.

Hottest day of the year? A scorcher!

But there’s no break from the campaign trail.

Plenty of great conversations today and inspiring ideas for taking Scotland forward.

Times are tough, and people are looking for real change and hope for the future.

After a year of broken promises and damaging cuts from Labour, it’s clear Westminster isn’t working for Scotland. We need the powers of independence to protect our people, our services, and choose a fairer future — built on dignity and compassion. #ScottishIndependence #SNP

Scotland’s last oil refinery at Grangemouth shut after Labour failed to keep promises to help.

Now they’re changing the rules to bail out a private refinery in Lincolnshire.

Why wasn’t that support offered to Scotland? We’re always an afterthought. Westminster doesn’t work for us.

Keir Starmer’s latest U-turn on disability benefits still leaves big questions unanswered. It creates a two-tier system punishing younger disabled people and those trying to return to work.

Scotland’s fairer system is at risk from Westminster cuts. This isn’t just wrong — it’s dangerous.

Out campaigning in Falkirk and the message is clear: Westminster isn’t working. Now Labour is backing Tory-style disability cuts that will push thousands into poverty. Scotland shouldn’t have to choose between two parties committed to austerity. We need independence to protect our most vulnerable.

Delighted to play my part in helping get Mike Carlin elected. A good guy who will make an excellent representative. Huge transformation in the local vote from both Last year and the previous 2022 by-election in this ward. The SNP are on the move again.
