UK/Europe representative for SonoBat sound analysis software. Licenced UK bat worker for over 20 years.
FFT is 1024 which I think is same as the R system. For individual calls we use 2048 in our Standard View method. Took longer to switch my laptop on than produce the images.

2 views from our own SonoBat software. 1st a screenshot of our normal viewer screen. Ideal for online documents/presentations, however the black background isn’t conducive to printing especially if you have an old printer that struggles with block colours. So, same sonogram with white background.

Sorry Morgan but I don’t share your enthusiasm. The resolution is dreadful and certainly not good enough for publication. I’ll create and post one later

Not sure what analysis software you are using then Jack. Resolution in the screenshot shot is terrible. Never understand this obsession with using ‘open source’ software. If you’re doing research you should be using the best tool for the job.

Trouble is the Green Party MPs supported the bill at the second reading a few weeks ago. Still waiting for an explanation

Will be interesting to see how you build a method to calculate how many of the bats were healthy free-flying bats caught by cats and how many were already grounded due other reasons.
