Right now students need the adults to be unconditional, predictable, and kind. Be unconditional by leaning into the relationship. Be predictable with structures and routines. Be kind in all interactions. Every student is worthy of success! #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones

Lean into the relationship! Students must know they can’t be bad enough to get rid of us. When students reject, the adults must see this as a missing skill and extend a partnership to help guide students to more frequent success. #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones

Connection is critical! By greeting students at the door by name on a daily basis you can increase engagement and decrease disruption. Be sure to intentionally assess and address student emotion in order to protect the learning environment. #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones

Boundaries provide emotional safety for students which helps reduce worry. Boundaries fall under: 1. It’s never ok to be disruptive to learning, it’s always ok to be a good learner, 2. It’s never ok to be hurtful, it’s always ok to be kind. #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones

In 25-26 let’s create a cohesive adult mindset. The way we think drives the way we act. More than ever students need the adult community to be predictable and consistent in actions. This allows kids to trust multiple adults at a quicker pace. #BISTon #AllInCARE @OurCornerstones
