After a slow start to #Noirvember, I've been attempting to catch up. So far I've watched The Strange Love of Martha Ivers ('46), My Name is Julia Ross ('45), The Set-Up ('49), Brute Force ('47) and The Prowler ('51). Of those, Robert Wise's The Set-Up is a clear standout. letterboxd.com/lovitt/
