Almost the end of an era for South Western Railway’s Class 455’s, coming to the end of their service, replaced by the 701’s. The stalwart of the South West London suburban commuter lines. Built in the 1980’s and given over 40 years of reliable service. We salute you 455’s 🫡 ❤️ #uktrains

The amazing Channel Tunnel and Eurostar, I’ve been on it twice from London to Paris and it’s an amazing experience, so much better than flying, and takes you direct from city centre to city centre with none of the airport hassle. One example where high speed trains beat planes.. 🚄👏🏻
