It's on Barrow Hill, in the parish of Barrow-upon-Trent. Not visited. Some old maps show the copse as inhabiting a quarried area not on top of the hill. So Barrow Old Elm may just be a notable tree of the parish, now gone (dutch beetles presumably). View from Deep Dale Ln...

And here is a vintage museum replica of one of them, curiously modelled in plaster to simulate a painted wooden original. Odd choice, but I think aesthetically pleasing.
