#Dnd session went well...ish. No TPK, but close. Any recommendations for near TPK sessions?

My bi-weekly #dnd game tomorrow. Excited for the game, la so for the drain. Respect your DM. It takes preparation and hard work to be on nonstop for several hours

Chatting with another DM, and he reminded me of the true essence of D&D. For him, it's all about DM vs. Player, but I believe in cooperative play. Players enjoy the game more when they work together and create a shared story. Remember, it's a cooperative game, not a competition! #DnD #CoopPlay

I'm curious to know how many DMs have switched to the 2024 rules vs 2014 or another system.

When was the last time you told your DM/GM that you appreciate their hard work? Let them know they are appreciated; it is hard, draining work done out of love for the game.
