This is not new. it just came home to roost. I remember when Reagan and his attack dog Jeane Kirkpatrick (and others) *justified* the rape and murder of four American nuns in El Salvador by fascist paramilitaries because they helped the poor... It was disgusting... but the GOP didn't care.

This is very funny... And in some ways effective, because it is so fundamentally American.
Still, let us not forget that we are living through a repeat performance of fascism (the Nazi version, btw), and that still has to be combated.

I like alternative opinions, but Weiss is primarily selling herself, which is what journos have been reduced to these days. . As for CBS and the other MSM, they should get back to the 5 Ws, cut way back on all those sill "opinion" panels, which are a waste of time and money.

Right. Bari Weiss would like to be an alternative, but all she is is an alternative Op-Ed page, and that is not news. And in the world of opinion, everyone has become his or her own propagandist as well. It's insane. An Ellul nightmare.

Right. Bari Weiss would like to be an alternative, but all she is is an alternative Op-Ed page, and that is not news. And in the world of opinion, everyone has become his or her own propagandist as well. It's insane. An Ellul nightmare.

Among other things: Write physical letters to your reps, to CEOs, etc... Be polite, but straight forward. Paper is very effective in large amounts.
