NIMBYs in my hood were Big Mad about Slow Streets and managed to get ours removed. They were upset about more traffic on their narrow street, likely from mapping app navigation. But they couldn't process that the new proposed version would eliminate that and apps wouldn't send more cars their way.

I think it's about fucking with San Francisco too
