Truly extraordinary watching once professional Australian journalists dissecting referendum results and not mentioning their critical and decisive role in turning a majority of Yes intent to No through their unjournalistic false balance and disproportionate amplification of lies and misinformation.

Had to go on a bike ride, never been so angry. No matter the result of #Yes23 today, if you needed any more proof professional journalism is DEAD here in Australia, it was their appalling handling of this referendum, parroting & amplifying lies. There’s no such thing as ‘balanced’ journalism.

The single hardest thing about writing spec scripts for television and movies is writing a TV Pilot and Pitch deck which you really really love and think is great, but not a single person has read it yet, so you have no idea if this is even remotely true. 🤷‍♂️

Most repulsive & sickening aspect of this feckless man Peter Dutton’s politically motivated, lie & misinformation fuelled, racist ‘No’ campaign, is his complete disregard of the terrible collateral damage being inflicted on Aboriginal & Torres Strait Island Australians. #Yes23
