Tokyo Godfathers is such a brilliant Christmas film. I know a lot of people love it, but I still think it's a tad underrated when we talk about great Christmas films. More people need to see it!

Rewatching Princess Mononoke tonight reminded me of the time I saw part of it on TV and was absolutely blown away by it. For years the scenes stuck in my head, but I had no idea what the film was. Many years later I would discover the films of Studio Ghibli and finally rediscover Princess Mononoke.

Joe Hisaishi at the Royal Albert Hall, some evening that! Incredible artist with amazing music in a special venue! Worth every penny.

Fantastic set from Tropical Fuck Storm at Band on the Wall, noisy and scuzzy in the best way. Support band Maria Iskariot were no slouches either!
