For those using #GodotEngine 4.x for their game and have problems running their game on older hardware: While it is stated in the docs (docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tu...) to use gl_compatible, I found out mobile can work better (tested with intel cpu/gpu chip). So try this too before giving up!

Had a pretty productive day today dusting off my old C++ framework. As current Blender (which I need for my main Godot game) doesn't work on my old Laptop, I'll play around with my C++ framework while on the move.

Have been working all day on my game. Most of the time was spent hunting some bugs with triggering animations. I just can't work properly with Godot's animation tree system.

Finally had both motivation and time to work a few hours on my game again. Spent it all on fixing a single bug. Yeah cool, the character animation now properly pauses when going to a menu...But did it need to be this complicated?!
