Cobra Kai was fantastic from start to finish. While creating many stories for the next gen & expanding on the Miyagi/Kreese lore, the main plot point/identity of the show was the redemption of Johnny Lawrence. They nailed that arc. This may be the best series based on an iconic, classic franchise.

Remember the scene in the movie Independence Day when a big group of New Yorkers get on a skyscraper roof cheering and holding up “Welcome!” signs and “Take me with you!” signs, thrilled and excited that the aliens are here, just for the aliens to blow them all up in return?
