Yeah, compared to the present it is clearly B. However, looking ahead and comparing the business-as-usual outlook with alternatives, there is always more we may be able to do to get yet a better outcome - so comparing different possible futures, it's gotta be A!

Then I'm afraid that I'm more in C than A. At least in my lifetime.

My view is that we need a progressive politics that can honestly admit that there will be tough times ahead. But that we will work together to care for one another as we enter the storm.
