Apart from one advert in Tape Recording Magazine in 1965, I can find no pictures or information about this FI-CORD 801 anywhere on the internet! Is it really that rare? It looks good and sounds good and is very well made. Anyone ever seen one of these before? 🤔

It was always fun modifying the college website. 2010 was one of my better efforts. Happy days! 🙃 Looking back it is surprising that I didn't get the sack!

Students used to ask what was the most important thing for a live sound engineer. I saw this poster in a local charity shop which sums it up! 🙂

Just found my tour tee shirt in the drawer. I was Tech/ Tour Manger. Never imagined that entertaining small children could be so much fun. 2 shows a day for 50 gigs of concert halls and big theatres!

Me 1971. No gloves. No crash helmet. What an idiot!
This 700cc Royal Enfield Constellation was an exciting ride because it had appalling steering and useless brakes.... but it went like a rocket in a straight line! You could get the front wheel off the ground in all 4 gears! Lucky to be alive :)
