…in theory that 16% could be players that had Switch 1 but for some reason didn’t transfer their old account and started a new. Likely minimal given the simplicity and encouragement to transfer when starting a Switch 2 console.

Probably a lot of cross-ownership of both old Switch 1 and new Switch 2 owners that also have PC or another console, and play on mobile. Been a couple of studies, for example Newzoo covering this. Nintendo can track based on Nintendo accounts. Which means…

Wrote about Sweden’s first commercial studio that developed games on Videopac in the early 80’s. A lot of Philips connections. Story today is mostly the US Odyssey 2 perspective but Videpac was big elsewhere. Maybe something for a Dutch person closer to Philips, but otherwise I can contribute.
