To be clear, I’m saying that Twitter sucks ass now, and that I’m happy to be on Bluesky because it’s better.

It’s excellent for verifying the meaning and clarity of exotic and idiomatic phrasing.

Just a way faster and more precise way to google and proofread, which can actually result in a qualitative improvement in writing, even if it’s already sublime ^^

Yeah AI is a major part of all future tech.

I intend to gradually get into biotech. We need to work out proper interfaces to biological structures, both to manipulate biological machinery and to monitor system state. This workflow is then iterated on with creative use of AI agents and simulation ^^

Yeah this is mostly a problem when building vertically a lot.

There are plenty of startups here working in vertical farming and adjacent spaces. I even know a couple of founders lol. These are iterations toward solutions that could work in denser urban areas, with higher efficiency and automation 👌

… and the soil, including all of the water that the soil could absorb, etc.

Because of this, the building can’t structurally support all the plants that it was meant to carry, and as a result is a total failure (according to what I was told anyway).

Just something to consider I guess ^^

Someone recently told me about some fancy new building, here in Copenhagen I think.

The building was meant to have a kind of “hanging gardens” look, and the architects had designed the facades to have a bunch of plants planted into them. However, they didn’t factor in the weight of all the plants …

Thinking about this for a bit, something that came to mind was soil.

There’s a lot of greenery in the images, which I imagine requires a lot of soil. That aspect seems like a challenge to automate and control. A lot of weight on buildings, space lost, spreading roots, dirt, flooding, idk ^^
