The Overview and Design Protocol for Systematic Conservation Planning (ODPSCP) allows users to comprehensively specify the criteria on which a priority map was derived. From general properties to design choices and specific parameters it aims to describe the key steps of how planning conducted (4)

Furthermore, the issue is that there isn’t a single priority map given any set of data. Even prioritizations performed on the same data can markedly differ with targets, grain and scale, costs, actions, penalties, and other constraints (see animation using identical input features) (3)

It's great that the WEF like last year assesses biodiversity loss as a key risk to global economies. However having some dejavue of it being for the medium-long rather than short term. As for climate mitigation we are kicking down the can of meaningful action(source: www.weforum.org/publications...)
